Chief Finance

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all corporate financial planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and the timely generation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Ensuring absolute compliance with local financial regulations, Myanmar Accounting Standards (MAS/IFRS), internal audit protocols, and corporate tax laws
• Actively managing company cash flow liquidity, banking relationships, corporate investments, and identifying/mitigating overall financial risks
• Providing deep financial data analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and strategic insights directly to the executive team to drive informed business and investment decisions
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the internal finance and accounting team to elevate technical capabilities, accuracy, and operational efficiency

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role (ideally within a fast-growing corporate structure or digital platform ecosystem)
• Deep knowledge of corporate accounting principles, tax structures, payroll compliance, and statutory audit procedures
• High proficiency with major ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and forecasting
• Strong technical ability to manage working capital, track multi-currency balances, and structure robust internal controls
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of translating dense balance sheets and financial metrics into clear, actionable advice for non-finance business leaders
• Uncompromising integrity, sharp analytical problem-solving skills, and exact attention to numerical detail
