Position Summary
Responsible for driving life insurance sales across assigned regions through active management of multi-channel distribution (agency, bancassurance, corporate sales, etc.). While sales performance is the core KPI, the TIC also plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and overall business development within the territory. This role demands a proactive leader who can grow the market, support sales teams, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate with internal departments to deliver territory-level excellence.
Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed territory sales targets (FYP, GWP, NBP, policies sold)

Collaborate with and grow multiple distribution channels (Agency, Bancassurance, Corporate Direct, etc.)

Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance, identify gaps, and take timely corrective actions

Provide ongoing training, coaching, and motivation to sales teams and agents

Identify and develop high-potential agents or sales partners to scale business

Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies based on customer and channel insights

Escalate high-value opportunities or roadblocks to senior sales management

Conduct territory mapping to identify untapped customer segments, communities, and distribution partners

Recruit and activate new agents, agencies, and sales partners to expand reach

Organize local promotional activities, seminars, or financial literacy sessions

Represent the company in local insurance association events, township business chambers, or community functions

Ensure timely support for pre-sale and post-sale processes (underwriting, documentation, claims follow-up)

Handle escalated customer issues and coordinate with service and operations teams for resolution

Monitor persistency ratios and implement corrective actions for policy retention

Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate policy issuance and service turnaround

Submit periodic reports (sales, recruitment, customer issues, competitor intelligence)

Ensure documentation and compliance with regulatory and company policies

Facilitate skill-building programs in coordination with HR/L&D teams

Track training participation, post-training performance, and retention of trained personnel
