Job Description:
Position Summary
Responsible for providing management with relevant, accurate, reliable, valid, and current information about the market, products, brands, customers, competitors, market share, segments, growth, trends, etc to help management make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle
- Plan and execute specific research projects in consultation with Country Managers
- Gather the information of competition of key competing companies, and brands with respect to pricing, and marketing initiatives and submit the report periodically
- Identify and coordinate with the market research agency from planning, execution and submission of the report
- For small projects, execute the research self by meeting doctors and pharmacies
- Liaising with the country team and BD team to prepare effective business cases
- Gain market insights on usage, pricing and competition for the identified key molecules
- Identify current and future product, market, and customer needs through primary and secondary market research
- Desk research and gather various data on country demographics, disease patterns, MOH reports, and research papers
- Analyze global IMS data, India IMS data, prescription audit data to understand the emerging molecules and disease trend
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Science or a related field
- Minimum 3~5 years' experience in market research department of the pharma, consumer company or market research agency
- Ability to do data mining and analytical methods to extract the core information from the vast available data
- Knowledge of ethical marketing and OTC
- Knowledge of launching new products, and increasing product portfolios
Working Time:
8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM
Monday ~ Saturday (alternate)
Sunday & Public Holidays closed
