Head of Sales

Responsibilities

• Driving division sales objective while maintaining the expense budget allotted towards bonus, schemes, samples and direct pharmacy engagements
• Negotiate win-win trading terms - facilitate margins plus in-store excellence and activations as part of commercial closure
• Plan and execute secondary sales and offtakes in line with above - drive required share of shelf, market share and primary/secondary in-store placement and incorporate in trading terms
• Seamlessly integrate supplies across all channels i.e., at poly, clinic, chain stores, traditional pharmacy, etc. with an objective of driving 95% plis fill rates and minimize OOS at store level
• Sales forecasting on monthly and quarterly basis, budgeting and monitoring trade marketing and shopper marketing initiatives
• Deliver insight led customer, shopper and activation insights and promotions to maximize sales and profitability
• Drive POS for entire OTC portfolio including new product launches - drive A, B, C classification for store level assortment and mapping
• Oversee demand and supply planning and coordinate with trade team and other relevant stakeholders for supplies and in store execution
• Monitoring productivity measures through salesforce analytics
• Manage stakeholder relationships such as pharmacies, distributors, etc.
• Align with marketing to drive joint BTL product campaigns

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.Pharm, MBBS
• Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
• Understand OTC business and working knowledge of market trends and behaviors
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent in English
• Able travel to work as necessary
