Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement retail strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Set up the retail organization structure, and develop and implement the Department Store SOPs
  • Create and deliver commercial objectives to support the implementation and delivery of improved business performance, processes, and ways of working with key customers and tenants
  • Analyze the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing, and costs
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor the Mall Operations team
  • Collaborate with, coordinate, and train diverse teams such as marketing, sales and customer service
  • Develop a clear understanding of sales/turnover for shopping mall tenants
  • Get involved directly in the development and implementation of the strategic plan of the Retail business unit, and will be instrumental in the development of new mission initiatives if required
  • Maintain full tenant occupancy with high satisfaction and fewer complaints, by coordinating with the marketing & communication team including effective marketing campaigns, special promotions, advertising strategies, and customer relationships programs
  • Participate in researching the market and industry trends with the Marketing Department and set the pricing strategies
  • Encourage the leasing goals to reach the target, and develop/update the strategy including setting the rental strategy, and retail portfolios, and coordinate with the property management team through efficiency and genuine care
  • Responsible for maintaining standards – including all Health & Safety practices and procedures, maximizing margin potential, and identifying and implementing new products and service offers, whilst maintaining the highest level of service
  • Always strive to accelerate and encourage the company's growth and success
  • Implement new customer acquisition strategies
  • Establish and manage the long-term relationship with stakeholders
  • Manage and track expenditures, financial goals, and budgets
  • Do other work-related ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Broad understanding of retail operation and business development, a genuine commitment, passion for achievement, and the capacity to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource, and coordination of people and resources
  • Integrating marketing/branding/communications strategies across all channels and touchpoints, including website, print communications, online communications and mail
  • Keeping abreast of Retail/ Mall management
