Chief Accountant

Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible to organize the day-to-day finance department operation in accordance with the company's rules and regulations, to enforce the compliances, policies, and procedures in all areas of financial operation in a constructive manner and to assist and coordinate with Director of Finance in all financial reports and year-end auditing process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the necessary assistant and enforcement the application of SAP in daily procedures
  • Support the external audits for statutory audit, HQ audit and donor audit, by ensuring that the organization meets its donors’ audit guidelines, as well as statutory and compliance obligations, including tax issues
  • Prepare budgets and budgetary control towards business plans and donor grants
  • Lead the month end financial closing process and ensure that monthly financial statements are reported and done the financial analysis on time
  • Cooperate with other internal units to enforce the financial policies and procedures, as well as to smooth out the working processes
  • To prepare for the financial report requested by HQ, monthly management report, year-end statutory report and ensuring all of these reports are free from material error
  • Providing guideline and necessary instruction to the team in terms of the technical and professional skills
  • Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • University Degree in B. Com or any other related field (ACCA Part II is preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as management position in FMCG and/or INGOs sector
  • Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP) and must have digital friendliness especially with all google services and Microsoft Office
  • Experienced with inter-co company transactions are much preferable
  • Inventory management experience - familiar with manufacturing, trading industry and the internal controls
  • Strong knowledge in IFRS and GAPP is required
  • Solution oriented and continuous learning mindset and creative thinking to improve the work processes are very much needed
  • Good command of English in both writing and speaking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability is required
  • Strong interpersonal, communications & presentation skills
  • Ability to manage, guide and lead the team and to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally if needed
  • Ability to work outside working hour if required

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
