[Position Closed] Senior Finance Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting and planning activities 
  • Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management information are prepared and submitted in a timely manner to enable Senior Management and the Board to review and guide the company’s operations effectively
  • Establish and monitor standard costings and product costings
  • Providing guidance to junior finance staff members on complex accounting issues
  • Standardize accounting process
  • Lead and direct a work environment of continuous review and improvement of financial management practices, operational processes, policies, frameworks, systems and service provision
  • Establish, lead and deliver initiatives to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
  • Lead, manage and be accountable for issues, risks and impacts associated with the implementation of financial management initiatives, changes to policies, procedures, government directions, protocols and legislation
  • Liaise with internal, external auditors and government auditors. Manage the annual external audit process to ensure it is effectively and efficiently completed for a clean audit report
  • Liaise with bankers, keep abreast new development of banking system and service
  • Cash management and cash flow planning
  • Carry out annual review of staff performance

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Professionally qualified accountants with current membership and designation of Chartered Accountant (or) An equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills with proven ability to partner with inter-department
  • Outstanding planning, organisational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a ‘business partnering’ or similar environment 
  • Extensive staff management experience with the ability to motivate and develop high performance teams
  • Exceptional numeracy, analytical and conceptual skills 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Extensive experience in management accounting using large integrated financial accounting systems, data analysis and costing systems
  • Apply excellent computer skills in MS Office, database management, ACCPAC 
  • Proficient in English. Communicate effectively orally and in writing
