Assistant General Manager

Position Summary:

Overseeing business various operational structures in country that provides a broad range of Point-of-Purchase (POP) services, including client and operational management of Field Marketing teams providing Field Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and other services including POP Intelligence Gathering, Brand Activation and Advisory Services such as Retail & Compliance Audits etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop the tactical business plans for the team within the strategic context, vision, and goals of the organization
• Lead teams to create annual joint business development plans for driving growth of the clients’ brands at Point of Purchase
• Develop an effective team structure, processes, and operational framework to support the implementation of clients’ strategic and joint business development plans
• Ensure the effective management and achievement of operational objectives in line with financial budgets
• Develop strong client and customer relationship by obtaining alignment, developing, and delivering on mutually established goals through regular engagement
• Build an inherent Field Marketing, Dedicated Service and Activation capability in the business
• Deliver against the business strategic agenda and position the business in a favorable position
• Lead and support operational and collaborate with functional areas

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Degree in Business Studies/Management/Sales & Marketing
• Minimum 12 years’ managerial experience in FMCG/Retail/Sales environment at national or regional role
• Solid knowledge and understanding of various industry/market/competitors /customers
• Exceptional negotiation skills, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and multiple levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills and networking ability
