[Position Closed] Finance Associate

Responsibilities

• Maintaining proper records and reconciliations for mobile money payments done by customers
• Verifying vendor invoices & supporting documents before processing Invoices for payments
• Manage banking relationships for all bank accounts and coordinate with the bank to process all payments
• Reconcile reports by verifying entries and comparing system reports along with ledger scrutiny for all the ledgers on a weekly basis
• Month end closing activity to ensure timely closure of books. Provide all required details to the finance and operation team
• Assisting external tax consultant in tax filing - Commercial Tax, Corporate Income Tax and other statutory filings
• Assist in audit for all audit-related matters

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in an accounting function. Graduate holder or degree in ACCA equivalent accounting qualification
• Excellent analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Clear thinking/problem solving, able to lead projects/process improvement within operations/finance function
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline
• Proficient in computer applications with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
• Good writing skills and well-spoken Myanmar and English language is a must
