People & Culture Manager

Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of human resources and organizational culture. The role serves as a strategic business partner to management and employees, ensuring that people practices support organizational goals while fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and values-driven workplace. Also plays a critical role in strengthening organizational culture, leadership capability, and workforce effectiveness.
 
Responsibililties
  • Support people strategies aligned with organizational goals through workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness, while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and support managers in performance management and employee development by identifying learning needs, facilitating capacity-building opportunities, and promoting leadership development and continuous learning across the organization
  • Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and offboarding processes while ensuring a positive employee experience across the employment lifecycle and supporting succession planning and talent retention initiatives
  • Manage employee relations and conflict resolution, lead employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives, and foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive work environment
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including health insurance and employee welfare programs, maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, and monitor HR metrics to provide regular reports and insights to management
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws and organizational policies by reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook, and supporting internal and external audits related to HR and personnel management

 

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • University Degree in any relevant field (prefer with Professional certificate or Diploma in HR Management or Business Management)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as similar managerial roles is desirable
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as best practices in human resources management
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development
  • Experience supporting diverse teams, including field-based employees, is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and verbal communication in English and Myanmar languages
  • Proficient in Google services and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software and tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and quality of work
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally if needed
  • Knowledge about Sexual Reproductive Health and contraceptives will be an asset

8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
