Trading Assistant Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar trade regulations, customs rules, MIC procedures, and related government requirements
  • Manage complete documentation for import/export processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in trade policies, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with relevant government departments including Customs, MAIRS, PPD, MOALI, UMFCCI, MOC, and MIC for approvals, inspections, and compliance matters
  • Handle end-to-end shipment procedures for import and export, including tracking vessel schedules, cargo loading, arrival times, and customs clearance
  • Monitor and report on shipment status, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Assist and report directly to the Trading Manager on daily operations, challenges, and performance metrics
  • Prepare and submit regular compliance reports, shipment summaries, and operational updates

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Certification in International Trade or Customs Procedures
  • Proficient in Trade Net 2.0 system operation
  • Minimum 3~5 years hands on experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, or trading operations
  • Expert in Myanmar trade regulations and MIC procedures
  • Proficient user of Trade Net 2.0 system for licenses
  • Skilled in government liaison

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
