Head of Strategy

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead the conversion of strategic plans developed by the advisory team into actionable, resourced implementation roadmaps across BUs
  • Manage the execution interface, ensuring cross-functional project teams deliver on strategic objectives, on time and on budget
  • Own the tracking and delivery of key business outcomes, ensuring alignment with Group-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial goals
  • Conceptualize, finalize, and drive the execution of Go-to-Market strategies for new products, services, and brand extensions (e.g., launching new educational programs or commercial initiatives)
  • Lead the successful rework of marketing programs to achieve a stronger, unified brand position in the market
  • Directly responsible for commercializing strategic initiatives to drive measurable revenue growth and market share gains across assigned BUs
  • Lead the end-to-end process of defining, hiring, and onboarding a high-performing operational team within the assigned BUs, overcoming the current challenge of back-office execution clarity
  • Design and embed best-practice operational processes, governance structures, roles, and collaboration protocols to enable efficiency and scalability
  • Serve as the crucial link, ensuring seamless operational handovers and continuous alignment across functions such as finance, HR, and front-line operations during strategic

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in senior leadership roles (e.g., General Management, VP of Operations, or Head of Strategy Implementation) within a large corporation or fast-growing conglomerate
  • Proven experience in driving successful Go-to-Market execution is mandatory
  • Exceptional track record in building, mentoring, and leading cross-functional teams and driving cultural/operational change
  • High proficiency in strategy execution, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and business process re-engineering
  • Deep familiarity with the local Myanmar market and operational environment is essential
  • Experience in multi-sector management (e.g., education, media, hospitality) is highly valued

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday
