Production Technical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Operate tablet press machine for compression of raw material into tablets
• Monitor the compression process, ensuring tablet weight, hardness, and appearance meet established quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and troubleshooting minor issues
• Documents batch production records and ensure accurate labeling of products
• Operate and maintain granulation equipment, including wet and dry granulators
• Ensure the granulation process is performed correctly, adjusting parameters such as moisture content and particle size 
• Monitor the quality of granules to ensure consistency and suitability for further processing
• Operate coating machine for film coating of tablets, ensuring uniformity and proper application of coating material
• Monitor the coating process to maintain optimal product quality, checking for issues such as cracking or chipping of tablets
• Ensure compliance with coating specifications and record result as per standards and SOPs
• Verify packing materials, ensuring correct batch numbers and expiry date
• Inspect the final packed product during operation for quality control, including correct sealing and integrity of the blister packs
• Assist to Supervisor for the production activity as per market requirements

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in related field
• Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Training Institute
• Bachelor's degree or Certification in a relevant field
• Subject matter expert for granulation, compression, capsulation and tablet coating
• Good machine knowledge of operation and troubleshooting
• Good leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure
