Export Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall process of applying for export license, custom clearance and exporting workflows
• Monitor sales transactions, review customer response for orders and payments and resolve customer issues
• Take initiative and efforts to develop effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures 
• Determine the market situation and available sources of supply and maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors 
• Manage custom and port clearance and carry out custom clearance administrative duties
• Coordinate with concern department for product export shipment and ensure that the clearance processes are done timely 
• Maintain good relationship with related government offices and shipping lines
• Check and follow up on export documentation process and material delivery process
• Record the documents systematically and ensure maintenance of suppliers/customers database

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
• Must have knowledge and experience in import/export and custom clearance process
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools to gather and interpret market information
• Understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehousing processes involved in moving goods across borders
• Experience in a particular industry, such as manufacturing, technology, or agriculture, can be beneficial
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Myanmar
