SHE Executive (Office-Environmental)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Establish occupational safety, health, and environmental management systems for employers and employees that are compliant with local laws and regulations
  • Create a Zero-accidents workplace for everyone who worked or visited the factory compound including guests, and external providers
  • Conduct observations for Unsafe Acts (UA) and Unsafe Conditions (UC), inspect the safety-related checklists and identify and rectify non-conformities promptly
  • Provide clear instructions on reporting requirements for SHE officers regarding on-site conditions especially related with environmental issues
  • Inspect and identify potential environmental risks inside and outside the factory premises that could impact nearby villages, fields, or other factories
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings with various departments and attend crew meetings to discuss safety matters
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to conduct inspections, including fire safety and electrical safety
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to the SHE Lead or Manager in line with KPI guidelines
  • Ensure contractors comply with PPE requirements, safety standards, and Permit to Work (PTW) protocols
  • Prepare safety awareness, program, signage, risk assessment, and safe work procedure for work activities or machinery
  • Prepare training material and conduct the training as per the requirements of the company
  • Analysis of all the near-miss, incident, and accident cases and summarize for lesson learning and improvement
  • Develop Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans for accident cases with team
  • Focus on environmental improvements in the factory by preparing the procedures and work instructions related to environment
  • Perform any other safety-related tasks assigned by the SHE Lead or SHE Manager

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Diploma or Certificate in occupational safety and health is preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position (Factory background is preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Myanmar HSE laws and regulations, and local environmental laws and regulations
  • Experience in occupational safety, health, and environment
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 and personal hygiene
  • Well knowledge of ISO 14001 is preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
