Project Engineer

Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary technical assessments of potential project sites
- Evaluate site-specific factors such as resource availability, grid connectivity, and environmental impact
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory submissions and permitting
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager/Director to refine project plans and budgets
- Provide input on technology selection, system design, and project optimization
- Support procurement activities, including vendor evaluation and equipment selection
- Monitor project execution to ensure technical specifications and quality standards are met
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the power & energy sector, with exposure to renewable and non-renewable projects
- Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., PVsyst, WindPro, AutoCAD)
- Familiarity with regulatory and environmental standards in the power generation industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
