Position Summary
Responsible for optimizing the bank’s revenue generation through investments into Government Securities, Interbank Money Market Dealings, and Derivatives Trading while maintaining and managing associated risks at an approved and acceptable appetite. Also responsible for Balance Sheet Management, Liquidity Management, Investment Strategy, Foreign Currency Management and maintaining and improving relationships with other financial institutions.
Responsibilities

Supervise ALM team’s strategic investment planning and ensure that the team meets its KPIs

Ensure that the bank maintains an optimal level of fixed income instruments

Proactively identify new avenues of treasury investments

Manage the bank’s liquidity in accordance with CBM regulations and guidelines, and other relevant internal policies

Work closely with operation and cash management team to facilitate branches’ cash requirements

Administer interbank money market dealings by the ALM teams and ensure that the dealings are within approved limits

Review credit facility contracts with other banks periodically and receive relevant internal committee approvals for new limits

Review the reports and dashboards produced by valuation team and ensure accuracy

Guide the team in improving the existing and creating new reports for efficiency

Maintain and improve existing relationships and forge new ones with other financial institutions both locally and abroad

Manage and guide the teams on FI related matters for efficiency

Work with Legal and Compliance Departments for necessary documentation

Review current functionality and ensure documentation is up to date and organized

Proactively initiate and develop analysis tools such as dashboards to better enhance the process
