Chief Operating Officer

Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible for providing leadership in project operations and business management, ensuring alignment with the real estate division's mission and vision. The COO will work closely with the executive management team to develop company-wide real estate strategies and support the growth of the real estate business. The role involves overseeing all activities related to construction management, estate management, sales and marketing, and related functions. The COO must focus on profitability and growth, ensuring alignment with operational management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the real estate division
  • Develop and implement the required policies, procedures, forms, and formats for all related functions
  • Develop and implement the real estate strategic plan to align with the organization’s mission and vision
  • Develop and implement the master plan for the real estate division, including construction management, sales planning, marketing strategy, research, analysis, and all related functions
  • Enhance project efficiency through new technologies, staying updated on industry trends, and driving innovation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, key investors, and stakeholders
  • Establish partnerships with external prospects for potential joint ventures and developments as needed
  • Oversee the real estate division's participation in industry events, public relations, and networking activities
  • Manage high levels of customer satisfaction and address client concerns promptly
  • Meet financial targets and ensure that operational costs are within budget and controlled
  • Achieve target profits, including managing project budgets, marketing and sales revenues, and cash flow
  • Provide recommendations and operational data for business improvement and financial reporting
  • Oversee the daily operations of construction management, customer relations, property management, acquisitions, brand marketing, sales achievement, government relations, and the contracting process
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure completion within budget and the targeted timeline
  • Manage all processes to ensure they meet specific standards and are supported by proven documentation
  • Develop operational policies, procedures, forms, and formats to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure that all property management and construction processes meet safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to real estate

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • At least 10 years of experience in real estate, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior management or related role
  • Strong understanding of the real estate market, including property development, management, sales, and marketing
  • Proven track record of leadership in a real estate business, with experience in operations, project management, and financial management
  • Strategic thinking and innovative skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in all four English language skills
