Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from local vendors
• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
• Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing terms and conditions
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders delivery
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Work with team members and HOD to complete duties as needed
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Any bachelor degree with more preferably on Engineering background, Supply Chain Management or relevant degree holder
• At least 3 to 5 Years experience in related field, factory procurement experience will be an advantage
• Good proficiency in computer (Advance Excel) skills
• Good interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate in both English and Myanmar fluently
