Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise all the business processes that involve compliance and regulations
• Take timely actions to ensure compliance, both with national/local laws and internal policies of the company
• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and imporve them continuously
• Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
• Draft, modify and implement company policies
• Collaborate with corporate principles and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
• Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
• Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
• Responsible for oversight of compliance risk and conduction risk assessment to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to actively engage with stakeholders, providing support from compliance perspective
• Study all local policies, business partners' related policies, agreements and ensure the operaiions from every department are in align with these policies and agreements
• Provide period training for compliance related principles with sufficient knowledge
• Constant communication and follow up with the business partners in relation to the compliance regualtions
• Due diligence and continuous monitoring of third parties by setting up polices governing third parties

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate employees and creating productive and positive team atmospheres
• Proven experience as compliance manager (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
• An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations
• Certified compliance professional is a plus
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effieciently prioritize and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a results-oriented approach
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly skilled in data analysis tools and Power Point presentation creation
• Proficiency in English and Myanmar languages, with strong communication skills

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM

Monday ~ Saturday

Sunday & Public Holidays closed
