Site Manager

Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned project from start to finish, including planning, procurement, construction, command and control of workers and subcontractors till project closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and ensure correct work sequences and procedures for daily site operations, including job site access
  • Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of the project
  • Leading and managing of workers and sub-contractors on site
  • Responsible for machinery and materials planning and deployment on site
  • Ensure all site works are done according to specifications, on schedule and within budget
  • Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from workplace and/or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities
  • Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace
  • Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
  • Participating in conducting risk assessment (RA)
  • Ensure briefing/re-briefing of RA to workers/sub-contractors by site engineers and supervisors
  • Implement necessary control measure to mitigate the unsafe work and to prevent recurrence
  • Any other duties assigned by the Company Superiors

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in building construction industry including interior decoration and minimum 3 years of experience as Site Manager Role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage the assigned project construction site and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify project risks and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed and able to work independently and lead the whole project on day-to-day construction activities
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from relevant field is required for this position
