Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Create a well-architected cloud strategy and manage the adaption process
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications and software
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud
• Determining the risk associated with 3^rd party platforms or frameworks
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company
• Develop and increase containerized applications and microservices architecture
• Cost Optimization Strategy to meet business requirements
• Communicate with stakeholders and build applications to meet project needs

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field
• Experience in designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
• Experience in Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework
• Experience in Cloud Cost Optimization and Vision to future cloud expenses
• Experience in enterprise backup and high availability process
• Strong expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation
• Must be experience with Kubernetes especially on Google Kubernetes Engine
• Must be familiar with complex event processing and event-driven architecture
• Must have completed at least one medium/large-scale project from start to end, which lasts at least 12 months
• Must be proficient in at least one programming language and framework (e.g.: Python, Java, Go, Ruby, Elixir-lang)
