Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Coordinator (Project)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly/ quarterly and necessary reports together with Programme staff to PUM and CO
  • Ensure proper data collection against indicators for each project in Program Unit
  • Lead MER preparedness process at Kachin/projects level and Oversee collection of population data for targeted areas
  • Lead rapid needs assessment in the event of rapid onset emergency and ensure staff are able to contribute via training prior to emergency
  • Provide analysis of quantitative data to present to PUM for monthly, quarterly and final /evaluation reporting
  • Maintain updated database in coordination with M&E specialist at CO to ensure all information is readily available for reporting
  • Monitor the quality of implementation and act as accountability focal point for Kachin based projects
  • Monitoring Humanitarian Situation and Preparing Sit – Rep and update to senior staff
  • Detailed field monitoring and documentation of status on the ground to be communicated to PUM
  • Serve as M&E focal point for the Program unit – oversea and coordinate all M&E staff assigned to individual projects
  • Presenting M&E and Learning focal person in coordination with internal and external partners, donor and UN agency and coordination mechanism
  • Train and coach to staff for improving knowledge of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting concept
  • Train and follow up to staff for improving Community Feedback Mechanism established and systematically function
  • Take lead on the field level monitoring of the implementation progress of the project and activities against set indicators
  • Develop beneficiary feedback / complaint addressing mechanism under the supervision of M&E specialist ensure it is working according to the core humanitarian standards
  • Main database of performance indicators by project to feed into reporting needs of the PMs and PUM
  • Organize and prepare together with project staff for donor and internal management report by monthly, quarterly, annually and necessary
  • Responsibilities for Child Protection
  • Responsible for reading, understanding and following organization’s Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy
  • Responsible for reporting any instances of suspected child abuse or neglect immediately as per the organization’s policy
  • Responsible to leading data collection and monitoring efforts that respect the rights of children and incorporate their voice into feedback

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Understanding of humanitarian issues
  • Strong M&E Systems experience
  • Strong understanding and passion for coordination of team members
  • Understanding of participatory methodologies
  • Understanding of local civil society development
  • Understanding of integrated development issues and child rights
  • University degree in relevant area
  • At least three years of progressive work related experience
  • Experience utilizing computers including word processing, spreadsheet and other software packages
  • Written, spoken and understanding English is a must and local language preferably Kachin is advantage
  • Willingness to travel to remote areas
  • Proactive, demonstrates record of creativity and entrepreneurship

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
