Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Coordinator

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Manage for the PU Level management report, preparedness process and others. Develop Monitoring and evaluation framework and ensure proper data collection against indicators for each project in the Program Unit
  • Leads and serves as M&E focal point for the Program unit in order to oversee and coordinate with all MER staff and project staff
  • Maintains an updated database in coordination with MER specialist/ MERL Manager at CO to ensure all information is readily available for reporting
  • Trains and coaches to staff for improving knowledge of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting concept and using mobile application technology such as KOBO toolbox, Survey CTO, etc...
  • Monitors the quality of implementation and act as accountability focal point for area-based projects and share the report with senior team members on a monthly basis
  • Prepares and submits the monthly/ quarterly and necessary reports by reflecting inputs form project to Program Unit Manager (PUM) and Country Office Team
  • Conducts field monitoring and updates documentation of status on the ground to be communicated to PUM
  • Provides analysis of quantitative data to present to PUM for monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Leads and coordinates of project and programme review and lesson learned workshop to ensure the programme quality and improvement
  • Coordinates and provide technical support to project staff and/or M&E and Database Officer on the project research and evaluations
  • Conducts project monitoring using PMERL (Project Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning) online monitoring system
  • Conducts the field level monitoring and reporting of the implementation progress of the project and activities against set indicators
  • Develops beneficiary feedback / complaint addressing mechanism under the supervision of M&E specialist ensure it is working according to the core development standards
  • Maintains that database of performance indicators by project to feed into reporting needs of the PMs and PUM
  • Manage in presenting and giving feedbacks to programs based on monitoring finding and project improvements
  • Develops the questionnaire for regular monitoring or quarterly assessment
  • Focuses on staff and partner coordination and communication to ensure the data quality management through regular monitoring visit, providing M&E capacity building session
  • Conducts program Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (PMERL) system update on a regular basis to discuss with project team and supervision of CO MER specialist
  • Prepares and assists the PUM for monthly PU reports such as situation report, monthly government reports and internal PU reports
  • MER Coordinator can handle the problem and issue related with Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting by cooperating and discussing with project’s focal and partner staff
  • MER Coordinator is well learning and solving the problem together with the CO MERL team

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Ability to speak Myanmar Language fluently
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in a subject related to management or development
  • Minimum of three years of management and technical experience in M&E and reporting development settings 
  • Understanding the both of development and humanitarian issues
  • Strong M&E Systems experience and knowledge
  • Strong understanding and passion for coordination of team members
  • Understanding of participatory methodologies
  • Understanding of local civil society development
  • Understanding of integrated development issues and child rights 
  • University degree in relevant area
  • Experience utilizing computers including word processing, spreadsheet and other software packages, applications
  • Coaching, mentoring, training and facilitation skills
  • Fair in English, both speaking and writing skills
  • Willingness to travel to project areas

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
