Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for company owned vehicles maintenance and repair of service completion of planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities for all company owned vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Assess all vehicles repairing issues and make suggestion; recommendation for their solutions
- Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Monitor repair & preventive maintenance of vehicles, coordinate with third party vendor ensuring their compete tasks on time & require standards service before returning to all staff on site safely
- Monitor and control supplies and equipment; order parts, supplies and tools as necessary; prepare documents for equipment procurement
- Maintain vehicle and equipment maintenance records and repair costs; prepare charges for user departments
- Check regular inventory and inspection of company owned vehicles from all regions of Myanmar
- Verify market price of vehicle spare parts, Perform related duties as required
- Assist in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet. Supervise driver so they adhere to strict schedules
- Utilize GPS system to monitor drivers and track vehicles
- Work in cooperation with HSE coordinator in support of Health and Safety devices (first aid kid, fire extinguisher) for the vehicles used in operation
- Ability to diagnose defects for vehicles (preferably FORD RANGER & NISSAN NAVARA) and able to advise solution
- Organize, implement and direct vehicle maintenance operations and activities
- Perform the full range of vehicle and equipment maintenance duties Develop cost estimates for supplies and equipment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
