Works with Senior Management to understand organization’s goals to ensure that government relations activities are aligned to the business

Maintain current knowledge of legislative process and regulatory activities

Monitor policy changes, emerging issues and trends to determine potential impact on company

Ensure that Senior Management receive strategic guidance on risks and opportunities related to known and potential new laws related to the business and industry

Establishes and maintains professional relationships with local, state, federal legislative bodies and government agencies that regulate and influence business activities

Lead strategic planning on the development and implementation of overall government engagement and stakeholder relations approach

Oversee, provide guidance and track on the process of obtaining license & permits, manage responses to regulatory communications, consultations and government inquiries

Participate in government meetings and conferences

Ensure that organization complies with all laws and regulations and mitigate risks throughout the organization

Provide leadership, supervision and support to Regulatory Affairs Team
