Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization can meet its financial obligations
• Lead and mentor the accounting team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Oversee all company accounts and financial operations
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Develop and maintain timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost-reduction opportunities
• Report to the Managing Director with timely and accurate financial information
• Any other duties assigned by the superior

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B. Com with ACCA Part I/II or CPA Part I/II
• Minimum 3 years' experience in progressively responsible financial leadership role
• Strong network in finance or banking industry
• Experience in export/import industry
• Fluent in English
• Excellent computer skill (Advance Excel /Microsoft Word/Power Point)
• Excellent reporting skill and presentation skill
• Strong leadership skill, communication skill, problem solving skill, follow up skill, analysis skill and negotiation skill
• Able to work under pressure and ability to meet deadline
• Good coaching skill to related team members
• Good understanding of Myanmar Tax system 
• Experience with SQL system advantageous

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
