Head of Treasury

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash and maintain good financial working relationship
• Forecast cash balances, maintain investment records, and prepare expense/earnings forecast
• Prepare and monitor the company's cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling for scenario analysis reviews
• Manage investment portfolios to optimize excess cash balances
• Evaluate alternative long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations
• Manage cash flow across all branches on a branch standalone and group consolidated basis
• Manage capital-related transactions such as injections and dividend payments
• Support budgeting and 5-Year planning processes to ensure that liquidity metrics are met
• Conduct regular Risk Stress test on liquidity to ensure proactive management actions and forecast
• Monitor all covenants in loan facility agreements from all existing lender and to ensure compliance at all times
• Maintain good existing lender relationships and highlight to management on issues in a proactive way
• Calculate financial covenants on a monthly basis or as-and-when required for reporting purposes

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Commerce, C.P.A is preferable
• At least 5 years’ experience in a treasury related role
• Understanding about microfinance market and MFI operation process
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and be administratively self-sufficient
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting and finance procedures and principles
• Knowledge of local laws regarding microfinance, accounting, finance and taxation
• English proficiency in writing and speaking
• Effective communication skill and problem solving skill
• Excellent interpersonal skill and analytical skill
• Computer Literate
