Head of Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal audit team, setting goals and objectives, and providing guidance and mentorship
• Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan that covers all areas of the bank's operations
• Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the adequacy of controls, compliance with policies and procedures, and the effectiveness of risk management practices
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulators, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt the audit plan and methodologies accordingly
• Foster a culture of compliance, ethics, and continuous improvement within the internal audit team and the organization as a whole

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, relevant professional certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA) is preferred
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in internal auditing within the banking or financial services industry
• Proven experience in leading and managing audit teams
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, risk management, and internal control frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships across the organization
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday
