Actuarial Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead actuarial resource on a team, providing support and mentorship
  • Conduct analysis to assess financial impact of proposed changes to products, processes, or other business initiatives
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Communicate findings to management in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay abreast of developments in the industry and share knowledge with team members
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including development of project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members as appropriate
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
  • Write technical papers and articles for publication
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned topics

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience as an actuary
  • FSA or ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with actuarial software programs, including Prophet, MoSes, and AXIS
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in the insurance industry

Working Time:

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
