Head of Loan Operations

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of all aspects of bank lending ranging from loan origination, underwriting, security documentation and loan administration
• Reporting to the Management team, manage the credit risk across Corporate, Commercial and Retail lending activities and ensure quality of credit underwriting and compliance with credit standards and norms
• Review accuracy of financial information, liaise with relationship managers on any unclear or incomplete client information
• Monitor delinquency and loss performance of loans frequently, ensuring loans acquired meet established performance benchmarks
• Interrogate credit bureaus, public collateral registries, land registries any other source of public information relevant to the credit quality of the borrower
• The candidate also must understand the credit reporting requirements to the Central Bank and also Management and Credit Committees
• Understand the loan module in core banking system and able to communicate with vendor in enhancement matters to the system
• Performs supervisory responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualifications in Accounting or Business
• 10+ years in credit experience
• Strong verbal and writing skills in English
• Able to operate within the Credit Policy and appetite of the Bank
• Proven record on managing a team of credit professionals

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
