Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for procuring goods and services needed for the organization's operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Collaborate with various internal teams and external suppliers to maintain an efficient procurement process and support the organization's overall goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential suppliers and maintain a comprehensive supplier database
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier capabilities
  • Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers
  • Evaluate and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments
  • Verify specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements in purchase requisitions
  • Generate accurate purchase orders and ensure their timely submission to suppliers
  • Track and monitor the status of purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Analyze and compare supplier prices and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Work closely with the finance department to create and manage procurement budgets
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish inventory as needed
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all inventory-related transactions
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure purchased items meet quality standards
  • Address and resolve any quality issues related to purchased goods or services
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Facilitate regular meetings and performance reviews with key suppliers
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage the documentation and record-keeping required for audits and compliance purposes
  • Work closely with the Finance department to create and manage procurement budgets
  • Monitor and control procurement expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Identify potential risks related to procurement activities and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Monitor external factors that may impact the supply chain and take appropriate actions
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including spending trends, supplier performance, and cost analysis
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on procurement data
  • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes and procedures
  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the procurement function

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchaser, Buyer, or in a similar procurement role
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices
  • Familiarity with sourcing and negotiation techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement transactions

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Saturday (Half Day)

Sunday & Public Holiday closed
